Expensive was the 1st impression and americano was below average. Bought some bakery products home as part of a Sunday buffet party at home. They tasted good quality and everyone seem to love them, so justified the prices in the end.

This morning, I had the pleasure of visiting Gail's with a friend. The overall experience was exceptional, combining high-quality food and drink with genuinely outstanding customer service.
We both enjoyed our coffee and decided to try some food (avocado on sourdough bread and a blueberry and vanilla pastry). Both items were fresh and delicious.
While there was a delay in the preparation of our food, the staff's response was exemplary, demonstrating sincere politeness and kindness throughout. To apologize for the extended wait, we had some complimentary cakes, a thoughtful gesture that significantly enhanced our experience. Lots of thanks to Sam - the member of staff that served us, what a kind person!

I absolutely love the quality of food here. I am addicted now and working my way through the menu and bakery selection. Exceptional quality and service. So delighted to have such an upmarket cafe in Worthing. The sourdough bread is gorgeous and olive bread a favourite. ❤️ Lovely staff and so friendly. A great team.

Gail's Bakery has opened in Worthing town centre, and it's a true gem! We visited on opening day, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient, especially Mike, Connor, and Keira. We enjoyed a coffee and an oat bar, both of which were delicious. We also had the chance to sample a couple of their healthy breads. The bakery is situated on a pedestrian-only street with outdoor seating available. Inside, there is seating on both the ground floor and the first floor. The shop is simply decorated and very clean. I am super excited for Gail's bakery to open in the heart of Worthing town. I went in to check it out & the team was super friendly & so welcoming. I got an oat flat white which was smooth had a balanced well-rounded flavor without any sharp or bitter notes & was made to perfection. Looking forward to try sour dough bread 🍞 & almond croissant next 😍

I love my Gail's visits, To start with the staff are so freindly and offer exceptional customer service, Secondly the drinks are amazing and the choices are endless, Lastly the food tastes great and is well presented,I particularly love the fresh sourdough loafs which are on offer each day. If you are passionate about great coffee,customer service and delicious food Gail's Worthing is the place for you.

GAIL's Worthing kindly offered to host Worthing Striders after one of our Thursday club runs. Sitting inside with a warm coffee and delicious cinnamon bun after a run outside in sub-zero temperatures was great, and everyone had a lovely time. We look forward to visiting again soon and trying more of your cakes and pastries- thank you!

Thank you to the team at Gails on the eve of 4th of October - I called up 10 minutes before closing to check availability, and a very polite assistant helped me check my order was in stock and still got it off to us before the store closed. Honestly great service from the team and would recommend!!

I popped into Gails in Worthing and had such a lovely experience. Sam, the barista, was incredibly friendly and made me one of the best flat whites I have ever had smooth, perfectly balanced, and served with a genuine smile. It is the little things that make a difference, and this kind of service truly stands out. A real credit to Gails—thank you, Sam!

By far.. the best cafe/bakery in Worthing! A beautiful place to sit with exceptional looking baked goods. I might even order their cook book once I’m home!

I've just taken a friend to Gail's Worthing for coffee and cake to celebrate her birthday. I cannot praise the team enough. Absolutely first class products and service beyond expectations. Wow, for the amazing and unexpected customer service here! I visited a few weeks ago and was telling the girl at the counter, how much I have been looking forward to a Scone and Clotted Cream as on my previous 2 visits to other Bakeries (one being Gail's at Chester), there were scones available, but no cream. As I was about to pay, and finally experience the deliciousness of my much anticipated Cream Tea, they discovered that the clotted cream had not come in on the delivery. Seeing total disappointment wash over my face, Connor the Manager, made a quick trip to Tesco to purchase some for me! Unfortunately they were out of stock too, but I was so overwhelmed that he had gone this extra mile for me, I was happy to just try the scone with butter and jam instead. Not the same of course, but the scone was amazing and I was truly so grateful to be on the receiving end of such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Thank you so much Connor and your lovely team there at Worthing, I am one very happy customer and very much appreciate you going that extra mile for me. I felt like I was in Disney!!- Service

I visited Gail's last week and was served by Klaudia. The store look so lovely and the service was absolutely well above my expectations!! I felt so welcomed and seen. I just wanted to relax for a while and I got much more than that! Well done, Gail's!

I went to Gail's, Worthing, for the first time today and was really impressed with the calibre of staff working there. They were welcoming, exceptionally pleasant and professional. The coffee and snack I had was tasty. I will definitely return. The names of the staff were Fran, Ollie and Jan.
